## What each does
### BookStackApp/BookStack
- Licence: MIT
- Role: Documentation and wiki
- A wiki that non-technical people will actually use. Books, chapters and pages rather than a flat list of markdown files.
### kanboard/kanboard
- Licence: MIT
- Role: Kanban task board
- Simple, fast task boards. No bloat, runs on almost nothing, and the API is good enough to script against.
### gristlabs/grist-core
- Licence: Apache-2.0
- Role: Spreadsheet database hybrid
- A spreadsheet that behaves like a database - real column types, formulas in Python, and an API. For the data that outgrows Sheets.
### excalidraw/excalidraw
- Licence: MIT
- Role: Hand-drawn style whiteboard
- Diagrams that look informal and get drawn fast. Better than a formal tool when you are thinking, not documenting.
### jgraph/drawio
- Licence: Apache-2.0
- Role: Technical diagramming
- The diagram tool engineers already know. Architecture, network and flow diagrams that stay editable.
### syncthing/syncthing
- Licence: MPL-2.0
- Role: Peer-to-peer file sync
- Syncs files between your own machines with no cloud in the middle. Encrypted, direct, and no account.
### filebrowser/filebrowser
- Licence: Apache-2.0
- Role: Web file manager
- A browser interface over your storage. Useful when someone else needs access to files without SSH.
### zulip/zulip
- Licence: Apache-2.0
- Role: Threaded team chat
- Chat organised by topic rather than channel. The only chat tool where you can catch up on a week without reading every message.
### jitsi/jitsi-meet
- Licence: Apache-2.0
- Role: Video meetings
- Your own video conferencing. No time limits, no account, no one recording your calls.
### actualbudget/actual
- Licence: MIT
- Role: Personal budgeting
- Envelope budgeting you host yourself. Your financial data never leaves your network.
